Rahim Manji | Head of Human Resources

13 August, 2021  ·  Less than a minute read

Having joined the CHD Living team in February 2012, Rahim is our dedicated Head of HR.

Rahim particularly enjoys seeing people progress and develop in their fields of interest, with CHD being the initial spark to set them on their way.

Rahim’s day-to-day life at CHD Living is usually varied, and can range from team meetings with various functions of the business to visiting the services and managing relationships with key partners.

Having graduated with a degree in Chemistry with Management from Imperial College London, Rahim joined CHD Care at Home and began learning the daily operations of the business. He also spent his time understanding the areas for improvement to ensure future success.

Rahim then became increasingly involved in the recruitment and payroll functions, which prompted him to complete a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis. Following this, he moved into the HR and Business Development side of CHD.

When asked about his most memorable moments at CHD Living to date, Rahim said: “From a client perspective, I love providing hands-on care and support within our community. On one occasion, I had a rather long conversation about the history of Phosphorus with a resident at Crest Lodge!"

"From a staff perspective, I would say my most memorable moments are when I can support individuals and families moving to the UK so that they can have a better quality of life.”

When he’s not working, Rahim ensures a good work-life balance by maintaining a healthy routine, and ensuring that he pursues his weekly golf sessions!

Rahim has kindly answered a few quick-fire questions…

How do you picture CHD Living in 10 years?

Through its ‘staying ahead of the curve’ approach, CHD will be a key partner in a network of organisations across the south of England. It will be involved in commissioning and providing health and social care to those who require it in a person-centred way. It will also be driven by heaps of data and offer a wide variety of services supplemented by robotics!
