Welcome

Accommodating 42 en-suite bedrooms, Kings Lodge offers care solutions to those in need of residential, respite, dementia, and end-of-life care.

A dedicated care team is always on-site, who can provide specialist care for complex neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease.

A range of facilities is available for residents to enjoy, including a themed pub with a pub garden, use of two internal courtyards, a hairdressing salon, cinema and an internet corner where residents can stay connected with family and friends. There are several relaxation areas available, too - including a choice of five lounges, a library, and the option for al-fresco or private dining.

All bedrooms overlook an inner courtyard or beautifully landscaped gardens and are well equipped with flat-screen TVs as well as full en-suite facilities. Fresh, home-cooked meals are provided daily, and residents are always welcome to use the large, secure garden on-site.

Residents are also able to enjoy trips and outings in the local area, which are organised by the on-site activities coordinators, whilst children from nearby schools often visit to develop valuable intergenerational relationships.

Phillipa K (Daughter of resident). 21/06/20

"“Kings Lodge Care Centre is a brilliant care home. All of the staff/carers show such calmness, patience and are always smiling, happy and courteous. They treat my mum with great respect and dignity too. I cannot thank the team enough for all that they do."

Alex S (Wife of resident). 22/01/20

"Four months ago, we moved here from another home. The positive effect that Kings Lodge has had on my husband (dementia sufferer) is amazing. The welcome is warm and friendly, and everything is centred around the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. I can't thank them all enough for the difference they have made to our lives."

Rathin G

"I would like to make some observations on how the whole team has coped and managed the dreaded COVID saga with sensitivity, panache and simplicity. All members of the staff, including the management team, should be highly commended for their efforts for this. I would not hesitate to recommend this care/nursing home to any one who is in need of the services of a care home."

H W (Wife of resident). 14/05/18

"Kings Lodge was recommended to me by a friend who has been visiting there for some time. My husband has been there as a resident since October 2017, and I am extremely happy as he is being so well cared for. It gives me peace of mind."
